Jintara's third album for RS is already out (i shall get it soon) and this is one of the songs off it. All i can say about the video is "wow!" Madonna eat your heart out!

Jintara's second album for R-Siam, of course i expect to love this but by how much? A lot. The title track gets us off and running and is a superb mid-paced song with an irresistable beat and melody. Its one of those sort of songs you just track the CD back once you have listened to it so you can listen to it again, and again.



"Kao ma nai ta-na arai" has a similiar effect though not quite as good. "Kid por nong nae der" is a slower track with a relaxed but slightly haunting tone. "Boon maha chart kard ai" is much more upbeat with great instrumentation. Its great morlam period.

Maybe not quite as good as at her best but not that far off and this is better than her first R-Siam release, and even on 90% Jintara is better than a lot of other artists anyway. Its superb, enjoy.

Jintara's second album for R-Siam is out now, but here is one of her older songs for her previous record company.

CD : Jintara Poonlarp - Jintara krob krueng

Last year Jintara moved to R-Siam and this is her first CD for them. It starts off with a great morlum track "Jintara ab baew" featuring Eed Pong Larng Sa-orn which in many way acts as a relaunch of Jintara ready for this new phase of her long career. I prefer the following track however "Tanakarn narm tar" with it's slow and brooding beat moving into mid-tempo. Jintara's vocals ring out like a bright beacon as always.

"Gok som mor ror ruk" is another good slow track with superb instrumentation and Jintara's vocals with their usual warmth and rich tone though the song itself is a little low-key. Another good track, probably the best in fact, is the laid-back "Boh lhuer yhung hai whung laew", again pretty slow paced but Jintara's vocals are particularly gorgeous in the run into the chorus. Great guitar too. This album is a great start to her new record label with so much to enjoy.

CD : Jintara Poonlap - mor lum sa orn 5

Lets go back a few years to one of Jintara Poonlap's older albums. This was the first mor lum album i ever got and i have recently been listening to it again a lot. Its a great album that starts off with the terrific "Nam tha yard kang pra tard na koon" with it's superb organ and infectious energy. Thats just one of a number of great morlum tracks on here. Jintara is in great voice as always.

Our second favourite track however takes us into lukthung territory, "Koo dee pilchai" is a great slow song with superb backing including lots of deep saxophone.

CD : Jintara Poonlap - sao thong dok jarn

The Queen of Morlum Jintara Poonlap has just released her first CD for R-Siam but this is her previous studio album. The album starts off quite understated with the title track and the following track not really setting the world alight. But then "somchai 2007", oh what a song this is! Great fast morlum song, but i still think it sounds like an MC Hammer tune.

The rest of the album is pretty good with some more decent morlum songs and some more lower tracks moving into lukthung territory. The album is a good album that is enjoyable in it's entirety but without having that many standout songs.

Going back to 2001 for this wonderful Jintara Poonlap song, the first morlum song i ever liked in fact and still one of my favourites now. Some of the best organ on a song ever!
